The “The Moments In-Between” series are all painted on site. Within a piece of small-sized paper, I begin the astronomical observation and geographical survey, observe how wind and cloud are developed in nature, plants grow in tune with four seasons, explore subtle details and seek life among signs of everything in nature. This is an experience to unveil the mystery of whispering streams and echoing mountains and a space-time answer to imminent dawn and downpour. “Landscape” always shows up as all lives in nature grow and die; it runs in line with some laws, but waits to catch us unawares hiding somewhere. The series is a field study I conduct about the operation system and represents my views and approaches about working attitude and methods.
