My love for antiquity, the study of classic traditional works and the sensuality of life led me to want to penetrate through the Chinese techniques that unfold the nature of each element: rocks, trees, water, human figures in a new world, promising, with elements of traditional values. The bright colors – characteristic of the modern urban night landscape – as well as the exposure of the works in black light, highlight the intensity while giving western values such as the perspective with roots in ancient Greek painting. Traditions are maintained or overturned. The exaggeration of colors that harmonize with traditional Chinese forms invites, and in a sense hypnotizes the viewer, actively involving him in the work that highlights the spiritual side of tradition with the intensity of a dreamy modern society as a basic precondition for the dialogue between Western and Chinese cultures.
