Whale is the subject of the installation work, Beached Whale. The artist compares a liquid city to the city we live in, where the stranded giant whale represents a person among us but with a different physical form, living a consumerism-focused life, physically and mentally invaded day and night by intrusive information.

The 2nd installation, Sacrificial Pillars, is based on an artistic symbol, expressing the development of human civilization. Together with the 1st installation it creates a particular site, giving the impression that a large sacrifice is occurring.

Another installation, Toy Cannon, is inspired by the cannons in Macao. The artist hopes to create a more relaxing and pleasant design, thus resulting in a lighthearted, toy-like installation by using colour collision to form a “mosaic” pattern.

Lastly, the painting, Cannon, eliminates pictorial narrative using a rigorous drawing method to reveal the nature of killing in war.
