Liu Kuan

Liu Kuan is a prolific artist with a career spanning almost fifty years, during which he created approximately five hundred pieces of art. His works have been exhibited both nationally and abroad, seeing acclaim from audiences from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Many of his lacquer paintings have been collected and sold, with his painting “Snow” now a part of the National Museum of Art collection. His paintings “Castle”, “Beach” and “Fountain” were exhibited in the Chinese Lacquer Painting exhibition in Tokyo, Japan; “Spirit” was included in an Asia-Pacific exhibition; “Fog” was catalogued in the “Modern Lacquer Painting” section of The Complete Anthology of Chinese Art.
