Filipe Branquinho was born in Maputo, Mozambique, in 1977, and lives and works in that city. He is self-taught in artistic terms, and studied Architecture at the State University of Londrina in Brazil. He has exhibited since the beginning of the 2010s, both in solo and in group shows, in Mozambique and abroad. He participated in the BES Photo Award (2013). His works are a part of several public and private collections.
