Born in 1947, Michael Flynn is a member of International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) and has received education from Birmingham College of Art, Worcester College of Education and Cardiff College of Art. Flynn has had solo exhibitions since 1999, including Brennpunkt Keramik, Städtische Galerie Neunkirchen (2018-2019), New Orientalia, Yingge Ceramic Museum, New Taipei (2018), International Ceramic Studio, Kecskemét (2017) and “Are You Interested in Bodies?” Sentinel Gallery, Wivenhoe, Essex (2017). His work has also been selected for major collections, including Yingge Ceramics Museum, New Taipei TW (2018), Taoxichuan International Art Centre, CN (2016), Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami. US (2016) and Museum of Art and Design (MAD), New York, US (2013).
