The exhibition “The Secret of the Golden flower”, featuring several video and installation works by artists Wong Weng Cheong and Lam Pok Yin, explores the impact of technology on human existence in the current era of thriving artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Wong Weng Cheong’s works focus on the fluidity and nothingness of contemporary individual and collective identities. Lam Pok Yin’s works point directly to the exploitation of grassroots workers in the AI industry chain, questioning the constituents of “human” in this era. Through the works of the two artists, the exhibition attempts to break through the brilliant facade of such golden flowers, giving viewers a glimpse of the mystery.
