Walker is interested in how technology is shaping and influencing our perceptions of nature. It is integral to how we define what it means to be a human being. Nature is defined as “the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations”. This description of nature creates two very exclusive worlds – the non-human world and the human created world. From personal experiences, he is trying to illustrate how corporeal experience is the constant connecting humans to nature and reinstates our destiny. At present, no amount of technology will change this fact. We are a part of the ecological system we identify as nature.
