The need for survival has driven insects (beetles) to develop weapons, such as horns and antlers. Beetles coexist with humans in an almost invisible manner. Throughout history, weaponry has evolved from sharp and pointed stones, knives, and guns, to internalized, invisible force and desire. In this work, with the repetitive, totemic form of the beetles as the backdrop, the familiar yet strange sharp angles that resemble weapons, are shown in a three-dimensional framework. They look like crowns with thorns, prompting contemplation on the status and role of humanity in the natural world.
