Born in Nice into a family of artists, Bolognaro showed talent in art at an early age. His grandfather moved to Monaco in the mid-1930s, worked as director of stage design for the Monte-Carlo Opera. Bolongaro moved to the USA in 2004, and now divides his time between the Cote d'Azur and America. A self-made artist, he was drawn to the art period of the 1970s and Pop Art. He has been acclaimed in sculptural installations, holding successful shows with one of his famous creations, “Totor” the dog, in both continents, including at the Musee de l’Automobile de Monaco in 2017.
