The artist presents in visual narrative her own family history, in a pair of open triptychs. Displaying blurred, pixelated ancestral portraits and individual family members' images as contrasting elements on the screen, combined with a map showing the family migration route, the piece represents the artist’s imagination and exploration of individuals’ destinies. 

"Poetic" in the title not only conveys emotional depth but also refers to the “Qianshi” (lottery poetry), while "Textures" alludes to traces, also being an intentional "misreading" of the poetic texts.
