"Not Terminal" is an interactive video installation centred around a ‘static luggage conveyor belt loop’ made of metal, wood, and rubber, forming an interactive platform with a structure resembling the Chinese character "品", where the public can rest, move, and socialize. Around the conveyor belt are plastic blankets for the public to run, skateboard and cycle on. The nine screens hanging above the installation display live footage of the site and pre-recorded life scenes, and the public can also upload their own videos to jointly create a lively drama of life. This work ingeniously transforms cultural spaces and art scenes into an experimental ground for social behaviour, highlighting that there is no end in the journey of life and art and suggesting the fluidity of life, memory, and identity.
