“Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025” Children Tours Themed “Hey, what brings you here?”, the “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025” features nearly 30 exhibitions and brings together pioneering artists from a dozen countries and regions, leading the public to reflect on the history, memory and current complexities of Macao in a global context while exploring the profound meaning of the symbiosis between the individual and the world. In order to explore the nature of life with children through arts, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will launch the outreach artistic activity “Children Tours” for children and families during the Bienniale. In the activity, docents will take the children to the Macao Museum of Art, inspiring their interest and understanding of art through interactive guided tours and workshops, stimulating their artistic imagination and creative potential. All community associations and social service institutions dedicated to children are welcome to register for the outreach activity “Children Tours” in order to organise the children’s participation in the joint appreciation of the arts. Group registration: Time slots available for booking: 10:30am - 5:30pm every Tuesday to Friday and 3:00pm - 6:30pm every Saturday and Sunday from 2 September 2025 to 17 October 2025; Target participants: schools, associations and social service organisations; Each group should be comprised of children aged between 4 and 7 or between 8 and 10, and each group must be accompanied by at least one adult (adult companions are not counted as participants); Each group should have no more than 10 participants; Places for group registration are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis; Please complete and email the application form to the coordinator at gugumelo.edu@gmail.com. The application form must be signed and stamped by the person in charge of the group; Group registration must be submitted to the coordinator 7 working days before the event date. The coordinator will reply within 7 working days from the following day after receiving the application and make arrangements according to the actual situation; Group applicants may be required to present valid government registration documents if necessary. Notes for participants: Participants should arrive at the meeting place punctually (and preferably 10 minutes early), and latecomers will not be able to join; Participants must attend the entire tour; partial participation is not allowed; Participants are recommended to wear comfortable clothing and footwear (skirts are not recommended); Adverse weather arrangements: the “Children Tours” will be cancelled if the tropical cyclone signal No. 3 or above or red/black rainstorm warning is hoisted two hours before the event starts. In case of inclement weather conditions or force majeure, the Cultural Affairs Bureau reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event.
