For this exhibition, we have invited local unconventional ‘artists’ to convey their memories and imaginations of the city using artificial intelligence (AI). This is also a subtle experiment on “creative authorship”. These works may not be highly refined, but they authentically capture how humans communicate with machines: we teach AI to understand ‘Macao’ and, in turn, AI helps us push the boundaries of expression. The theme of the exhibition engages in a profound dialogue with that of “Art Macao 2025” — Hey, what brings you here? —and represents an active embrace of the overwhelming wave of the AI era.
