The Bamboo Pavilion is a staple of the USJ architecture programme with yearly editions, and is a practical workshop where architecture and design students combine the potential of vernacular bamboo techniques and local craftsmanship with the creativity and digital design skills to build an innovative architecture structure. The INTERTWINE Bamboo Pavilion is a fluid and dynamic space with undulating surfaces and intricate bamboo densities, promoting air circulation and varying sunlight and shadow effects through the day. Its innovative form and tectonics was designed to trigger people attention and imagination creating an opportunity for multiple encounters.
